I thought once North got the lead back, we lacked poise. Seemed to miss a lot of handballs and kicks in the last 10 minutes.

I have a mate that barracks for Norf. I keep telling them they're nowhere because they refuse to rebuild.

I can't wait to see them finish 9-12 for the next 10 years

Simpson and Plowmam were terrible at very crucial times.

I'm prepared to forgive Plowman somewhat but Simpson has been killing us with crucial brain fades and disposal errors at clutch times for a long time.

Can nobody see this, i invented the piano key necktie for Chrisakes!!!!

Great, gutsy comeback but it was our own fault we ran out of puff after that start. If we held on it would've been our 2nd biggest comeback ever.

Reckon we were one key forward light. A number of times we could've gone into an open 50 but lacked a tall bloke to go one on one. Hence we chipped it in and mucked it up a few times. An extra tall forward might've got us over the line.

only 1 contested mark for Levi

Thought it was one of his better games. A couple of marks where he got separation, a few rare loose ball gets and a goal in free play.
I almost see the contested marks as costly. He starts relying on them and so do the team and we end up lobbing it on his head every time we are in trouble.
Today he actually started to look like a footballer.

Disappointing crowd of 32,802 for a home game.

I know it's a sunday arvo, but like our membership numbers, we won't be seeing better scheduling until these numbers improve.

We aren't coming out of the blocks well

Seem to wait to get punched before we counter punch

Kruezer kicks that goal in the last and it might have been different

First point of entry into the forward line is an issue ... as is our run and spread around tight areas

I'm not feeling as warm & fuzzy as some. The first 30 minutes were disgraceful. And I was almost as disappointed with the last 10 minutes. I know we're a young team, coming off the WA trip etc etc, but North were begging to be beaten at the start of the last quarter and we let them off the hook.

North are flat track bullies. They folded like deck chairs when we got our shit together defensively and started to tackle.

We should never have been in the position we were in at quarter time, but compounding it was our failure to show sufficient resolve when the game was there to be taken in the last.

As Bolts says, we need to be a no excuse football club. Some of our kids need to contribute more for longer.

Positives - Gibbs, Kreuzer, Cunningham, COS, Doc, Charlie.

Have to agree - Gibbs and Kreuzberg nearly got us over the line in their own, but ran out of petrol tickets with a little more from SPS, Williamson, Fisher we could have pinched it.

Although they were good with what they did.

I obviously can't speak for everyone, but while I'm not happy about losing (particularly the @#$%&! maggots handing them every opportunity) I AM happy that the team fought it out.

Yes, Bryce and Kreuz were the catalysts, but there's something different about the youngsters we have here than those we've previously seen, and this is something to be excited about. The start was awful. but in previous years this would've been a 90+ loss, but there's something special about the mindset of the kids we now have, and I think since the Port game the resolve is there to never let that happen again. That I can comfortably be happy with.

I am confident that this time next year, the ledger with the Aints and Norf will be even.

Would have been nice to be just one game (and a bucket-load of percentage) out of the eight.

Last 2 games have shown us why it's important to have a winners mentality and win at all costs culture.

Terrible start, faded late but fantastic in between.
Kreuzer has to stay.
What is going on with Weitering? Has had a very ordinary year so far.
Kids showed plenty so lots to look forward to.
Waite still a flog and still chasing that flag.

Was amazing to watch live, the lack of effort, chasing and how tired our blokes looked in the first quarter and a half was astounding. It was like we had played an earlier game.

Yep we picked up, and we played well for 2 quarters, we have some ripping kids, and some old blokes like Kruze and Gibbs playing good footy.

Make no mistake there is absolutely no excuse for coming out and starting a game like that. Front running, lack of pressure, no run, no talk and generally disinterested is not how we have been this year. Credit to coaches for the assumed rocket!

Shit start and ran out of puff in the last 10. Umpires didn't help our cause in the first.
Great to watch from half way through the 2nd to lateish in the first..95 tackles impressive & pressure was amazing in the 3rd

Don't want to make excuses but North played one teenager and we had 6 out there. On top of that we had a few 20 year olds. Whilst they were there for the taking a little bit of experience and fitness got us late in the game.

Got the sense in post match the Bolts was pretty pissed off.
I think if he wants to win and develop a winning culture he needs to get his selections right on Thursday night.
Sumner wasn't ready for a return and others had shown more than Macreadie in the NB .
Sensed he was struggling with the balancing act of development over wins.
Losses might be getting to him.

Gutsy fight back and plenty to like from our oldies in Krooz, Gibbs and Simmo, and Murph also solid along with Docherty. Cunners had a breakout game and I Love what he brings....pace, strength, and balanced kicking skills and knows where the goals are !

We will be a very good side when when get more A grade mids and another KP forward to help Levi. Until Harry is ready to fill that void we can't be a serious contender. So......that's why today's Resultt, as painful as it maybe, is exactly what we need......we need those draft picks to bolster the midfield.

SPS looks tired or a bit sore so he will benefit from the break. Weitering is class but he too has been playing sore all season...."enduring" as Bolts says. Don't worry about him, he'll bounce back.

Go Blues.

Cuningham took a step fwd today. Needs to become a goal kicking mid. Encouraging.
Fisher and SPS maybe get game after the bye to maintain their spots.
Macreadie did couple of nice things but not lot of impact.
Sumner and Graham still borderline.
Charlie did enough to keep whetting the appetite. Williamson quieter than last week but poise stands out. That goal would have helped.
Jack down a bit but, like someone said, who would take his place? He's going ok.
Gibbs, Kreuz were huge.

Good to see Waite is still a flog.
SOJ shown little for weeks
SPS not the same since Rising Star nom
Weiteting havimg 2nd year blues
Too many dimples and dumb decisions at crucial stages cost us
Had them on toast way in the last and should ve just finished them off, but crapped ourselves when the going got tough just like on the Ders and Saints games.
