Agreed. One would hope they make a pact to wipe the smiles off those smug faces next time around.

C'mon guys.....

Carlisle is an AFL player, and we know that AFL players are all good blokes you can have a beer with.

Just watched the footy classified clip about the Murphy incident. Why is Lloyd trying to say that getting into Carlisle about a video that actually shows him doing drugs is as bad as ripping into murphy about an untrue rumor to do with his wife!

I hope I'm not being to one-eyed, but Carlisle is a druggie, there is proof, it happened, why is it not allowed to be mentioned, to me thats part of the punishment of getting caught doing drugs is that your labeled as such and have to deal with it.

St Kilda fans are still crying because Murphy got stuck into poor hapless Jakey when he was "unresponsive". Yeah sorry, I must have missed the bit where he kicked him in the guts.

Also, anyone remember the game a few years back when Montagna (good bloke you can definitely have a beer with) and Kosi ran over to Ed Curnow as he was leaving the ground clutching his injured shoulder to bump him?

!. Saints players expose the insecurities, weakness and self-doubt about their football abilities in resorting to this type of sledging.

2. If the sledging isn't true, not sure why the Murphs are taking it badly. They've got nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed about.

This will hang around like religion. Marc Murphy should take any and all action possible.

Pathetic Spoon loving, dwarf tossing, misogynistic excuse of a football club.

I'm sure Warney will be offering words of support any minute now.............

I really hope the next Carl Vs St Kilda game we turn up in huge numbers and give them heaps.

Has it been verified it was actually Carlisle who liked the Tweet, or someone setting up an account in his name.

If it was him, he's even more stupid than I thought, and that's saying something.

It was him. They can tell when it's the 'official' accounts, and wouldn't have mentioned it if it were fake.

Unbelievable. Makes you wonder if Carlisle has a brain in his head. Especially with his background you'd think he'd be keeping a very low profile.

Just checked the draw, a pity we don't play St. Kilda again till next year. I would love to see Carlton supporters there in droves at our next match against 'em giving them heaps (in a politically correct way of course).

I can't believe in 2017 players would still sledge in this way, it really makes you wonder about the culture at St. Kilda. As for their supporters, a female relative by marriage is a Saints fan. She's a lovely person, I like her a lot, I'll never go to the footy with her again though, once was enough.

I think 1.5 years of rumour and innuendo is enough to upset most people.

St Kilda history in the 2000s

1. Milne rape allegations
2. Lovett rape allegations
3. St Kilda schoolgirl
4. Dwarf tossing
5. Gram stalking
6. Riewoldt/Dal Santo photos

What have I missed??

Any wonder that it's this club who this comes from?

I've come around a bit on this issue in that I'm ok with significantly more robust sledging than most people, but have always had the lines I think shouldn't be crossed. Race, sexuality, and I think it's time to add respect for women to that list. This one is just too specific and unsavoury, it's less 'your Mum's fat' and more 'your wife, Jessie, is a ...'. Days later the country is talking about her sexual history and people are desperate to be private messaged to hear what was said.

It's a bit of a line in the sand moment, the AFL have to come out and make it clear what is and isn't OK to be said on the field. We know the situation for racist comments and the like, and it needs to be explicitly set out what you can and can't say about someone's family. I don't agree with the suggestion that Murph has opened himself up to non-stop sledging about this in the future. If the AFL shows some leadership on this then the comments should be a no-go area. I can think of a surefire way to get under the skin of SPS, Pickett, and the like, but it doesn't mean players would ever go there.

To be honest, with the calibre of that club, I'd only be mildly shocked if they sledged Hogan or the Dees in Round 21. I honestly hold their fans and club in the lowest esteem possible.

spot on!! was thinking of the rapists myself this morning - and I reckon that it was a game tactic made up by smarter people at their club than minus-IQ morons like carlisle!

wonderful culture and the turds only think they MAY have overstepped the mark!!

I don't think it matters if it's true or not.

I reckon a lot of men wouldn't take too kindly to their partner being slagged off, especially repeatedly which seemed to be the case on Saturday.
