There was a period in the 2nd qtr I think where SPS was putting on a clinic. Great game. How good is Marchbank as well what were his intercept marking numbers like.

That was a nice touch of schadenfreude. Normally I don't go for rubbing it in, but in that case I made an exception.

Thought we won the argy-bargy too. Some of their sleeved warriors presented like they wanted to go the biff at times and they were mobbed by 3 or 4 Carlton players instantly. Sam Rowe is playing the role of agent provocateur to perfection in that respect too.

Hope signing Kreuzer is a real priority for the club. He has been outstanding this year and deserves the security of a new contract. I would hate for a Betts type situation to transpire at the end of the year.

closely followed by signing Matthew Wright, he has been a gem of a pick

AFL copyright claims have forced me to removed SPS goal in the first quarter.

Loved that Carlton roar when Daisy kicked his goal.

Of our young kids. Throw in Marchbank Curnow and Docherty and I'm not sure we're even close to them now. The one thing they will do to us when they get better is stand on our throats - not like us letting them win the odd game against us over the past 10 years despite how shit they've been. They will be ruthless. For those who weren't around in the 70s and 80s better buckle yourself in. Nobody does spite and flower better than them

Can't wait!!

Well that just sounds wonderful, doesnt it..

Exactly. Even posters on the Collingwood boards are getting stuck into him

Good win
Rain helped us
Collingwood helped us they were seriously shit
Defence was great
Like to see Cunningham come in for
Kerrige for extra pace
We will have to improve on yesterday's effort
To get close to the Saints at Etihad
Great to see the kids coming through

Was a beautiful touch by Carlton supporters singing Happy Birthday to Collingwood fans as they were leaving during the last quarter. Very generous supporter base we are.

I wish there was footage of that

This also happened in the stairwell as we were leaving after the game ... Pies fans trapped in amongst all the bluebaggers in full voice ... It was simply magnificent ...

Jimmy Bartel made a comment on radio about Collingwood being wannabe tough guys, or words to that effect.

Thanks Wookie.

Just watching those....Graham got himself in a position to goal several times but wasn't used. Good signs.

So many good moments....the Daisy goal, the ASOS tackle, Gibbs riding the bump and goaling, anyhting SPS did, Marchbank.

My apologies if there are any here, but I've never associated rocket scientists with the name "Brayden".
