I'm liking the way that there is a weekly opposition player that we target to get under their skin. We did it to Motlop. We did it to Callum Mills the other week, and I'm sure that it happens more often than not. Who would we target this week?

Teams are paying little respect to Seb Ross. He and Steven are the architects in the Saints midfield and must be limited.

Dylan Roberton is in All Australian form at HB and like Marchbank reads the play very well. Can't just bomb the ball to him.

Completely agree.

Tough, competitive and damn fast...and kick a goal or two.

Must be stopped.

BB will be focussed on similar tactics to stop the run from HB and through the corridor

Nah, don't rate anyone who can't spell his own surname.

I reckon it was Maynard against the Pies the other day too.

I want to believe, but our club hates Etihad as much as I do. Saints by 25.

I'd like to see Winmar & Franchina brought back in for the occasion.

Didn't think we'd beat Sydney
Didn't think we'd beat the Pies
Don't think we will beat the Saints. We still give goals up really late in quarters regularly. Not sure if it's fitness or concentration. Think we will keep with them and but lose it in red time each quarter. Saints by 35.

Looking forward to it though!

...but we have beaten the Saints 3 out of the last 5 times, incl 2 out of the past 3 at Etihad.

Must stop Jack Steven. He is the key and also the hardest for us to stop.

Sounds like Cunningham is ready to come in.
Most likely for either Kerridge or Smedts.
If they want to bring Jack in, perhaps for the other of Kerridge or Smedts, although wouldn't surprise me if they decide to give him another week rest or bring him back via the VFL.
Whatever the MC decide, I'll back them - given the past couple of weeks where I doubted their selections.

Koby Stevens offered a week for rough conduct. He has played well in his two games back, and added hardness to their midfield. Good out for us.

We have a weird run before the bye: St. Kilda at Etihad (in good form), Freo at Domain (beat us there in Pre-season) and North back at Etihad (back in form?). We'd probably have to manage blokes into the bye, and with due consideration to travel and playing on the unforgiving Etihad surface. What we definitely need over the next three weeks is some added run.

We've been spared consecutive games at Etihad this year at least. @#$%&! I hate that place.

Koby Stevens is a big out.
Only played the 2 games and that coincided with their 2 best wins . Average 28 disposals and 12 contested
