Both online and talking to other people, I still hear we "cheated" to win the flag in 1995. I'm yet to see even a shred of evidence to the contrary; even circumstancial. Can anyone clarify that we even might have cheated to win it back then? Demetriou and Evans are now long gone and good riddance to them. And there's nothing they can do to take our rightful 16th away from us.

Ken Wood and the AFL Commission thoroughly investigated us and found us guilty of Salary Cap breaches from 1999 - 2002. As far as I understand the only club found guilty of Salary Cap breaches in a premiership Year are the serial Cheaters Essendon* in 1993. |

Although I have utter contempt for Evans especially, thank @#$%&! certain supporters aren't running the AFL. The claim that our flag is tainted as slanderous as George W. Bush's claim that Iraq had WMDs. Japan and Germany were the worst two nations in WWII. Does that make them bad now and altogether? @#$%&! no.

Anyone who knows anything about Geelong around that time knows that they were way over the salary cap. Filthy cheating scum. Would have pinched our flag it wasn't for our no namers like Clape, Rice, Hogg, Campo, Manton, Christou and Pearce all having great seasons. |
