Hard to gauge. Like I said in the match thread.....my worry is lots of kids gives you an 'out'.

JW must play back.

Yes, needs to go back as playing forward at Carlton does him no good. Probably play forward well in any other forward line.

I wonder how Hibbo rated Phllips game.

Personally, I thought he should have taken 45 marks and kicked 23 goals

Someone mentioned Murphy had 25 disposals, I find that incredible since he was completely anonymous, but I guess a turnover still counts as a possie, and he's always been a good accumulator of junk possessions. I shouldn't be harsh on him because his first 3 1/2 rounds were spectacular, but tonight was putrid.

Speaking of possies, did Phillips get one?

If T is for Turnover, Murphy had none.

i'm not convinced he is fully fit, he is pulling his kicks and no speed off the mark

Hard to watch but not a disgusting effort
Kids not fit enough not strong enough not enough experience
Tried hard
Must take hat off to Levi terrific game to kick 4 goals amongst that was really good whatever and however he got the goals

3rd quarter the worst and disappointing that it was a repeat of last week

Port flat track bullies and ok but won't beat the good teams

Just need to get games into these young guys

Thought Charlie Curnow looked better tonight

Crippa also did well

Gibbs and murphy giving their all but overwhelmed

Jw has to play back for kJ and McKay to play forward with Rowe and White
to be dropped for good
Cunningham to come in for Wright
Hope Kruz is fit if not play Levi in the ruck get rid off Phillips total dud

This.
It started with his Achilles heel, set shots for goal.
Missing that simple one from 20 out in the first set up the rest of his game.
On top of that, there were a few times he went to stupid positions and demanded the footy and then turned it over in the contest. I am sure he was trying to lift the team by example but this was a shocker of a game from him.
