More and more new, young players coming into the side might be making a difference like it did for Freo last night.

Such a smart wet weather game we played.

Pros:

Winning. Beating Essendon* is always great.
Effort levels.
Thought we looked much more balanced with the extra running defender. Great first up performance from Williamson.
Murphy's class.
Gibbs, Kreuzer and Ed's inside grunt.
Plowman and Docherty were superb.
Best game I've seen from SOJ. I suspect the slower track might have suited him.
Good games from White, Rowe and Casboult.

Cons:

Inaccuracy in front of goal.
Really like Pickett, but he had a shocker.
Thought Kerridge and Palmer were disappointing. Would have preferred Smedts if they wanted a senior body. Got more upside.
