Here's hoping coming home will result in a better result than today.

According to Bolton, less senior players next week. More 1st and 2nd year players. We may well see a repeat of the Essendon* preseason pasting again.

It's a great opportunity for the kids to play against another up and coming team wanting to play finals in 2017

It is a great opportunity. But I wouldn't expect the results to be pretty.

I agree. But we are giving kids a chance in a practice match. If kids stand up we are better for it.

The kids ought to be bristling with enthusiasm rather than be daunted.................we want these kids to have an attitude that theyy can match it with the best.......................really looking forward to this match................first up flop against the Dees,no matter. Now for an equally talented Saints..............as a matter of fact i reckon Dees and Saints are right on the Dogs heels for pure talent.Great challenge for our kids.

Not that it really means anything, but when was the last pre-season game we won? Wasn't it 2015 vs Collingwood?

It doesn't mean everything. But it certainly means something. It's hardly surprising we've struggled to win early games over the last 5-6 years. Given we've been very poor in preseason games throughout the same period.

Ummm, reverse that:

I hope those that go boo a damn sight louder at Carlisle than they did at Melksham last week.

The lack of booing was disgraceful.

Any issue with Sheehan atm? Doesn't seem to be on any injury list I've seen...

Rowe and Harry seem in line for a trial as relief ruckmen
