You'll never nail absolutely every trade and pick but he's hardly put a foot wrong since he returned to the club.

I agree as well.

We didn't get Shiel. Sakc SOS

Can't help but think how things would be different if we had him during 2007-2014. Actually scratch that, best not go there...

9/10 great work by SOS, only loses a point for overpaying in getting Kennedy. We keep doing better deals for GWS than the other teams by comparison.

Which is necessary to keep the good relationship going. No issue here.

Three trade periods and each year we have let older talent go to get in picks and younger talent. We are sticking to the plan and getting it right more often than not. Its great to watch, its a slow build but we will have rebuilt an entire list through a sound draft and trade strategy. It so refreshing. No guarantees of success but at least this time some forethought has been put into it so it won't be from lack of planning.

I'm really happy with the integrity of the progress. They said they would commit to the reset focusing on bringing in young talent, and for three consecutive trade periods, they've committed to that.

Only lost one first XVIII player and likely to add 4 to the squad (Kennedy, Lang, 3, 10). If they make pick 30 count, it's been another big off season.

Currently have 39 players on the primary list by my reckoning - 42 with picks 3, 10, 30

2 more delistings ?

Yes.
Now we have pretty much the nucleus f the team we want to develop. Add #3 and #10 to this lot in a few weeks and all of a sudden the midfield has a lot more depth than it had.
I expect Docherty to run through the midfield a lot more from now on as well as C. Curnow.

Next year we get another decent pick around 10 and a free kick with Ben and a coupe of others if they are good enough.

Gibbs was a good player for us but he had to go to give us some bargaining power.

He did so well that he referred to “Zac Fisher” as “Sam Fisher” in the exit interview on SEN after the trade period ended.

This time next year, big names will want to come to the Blues. We've turned the corner.

We've assebled a team capable of becoming a dynasty. Well done SOS!

As a fan you have got to be happy. The club have a firm plan and are executing it perfectly. That's all we can ask for. It is hard to win flags these days. We currently have people at the club who are giving us the best chance of success.

We didn't overpay for Kennedy. Let's revisit this conversation in 12 months and see what his value is. The kid is a seriously good player. Well worth the pick.

I'd like to join the "well done" chorus too.

We've got picks and a couple speculative guys in Kennedy and Lang. Stuck well to the required demographic. No known d*ckheads. No over-the-top deals for a "big name" player. On top of all that we've looked after a fine club servant who'll mostly likely get to have a crack at a flag in the twilight of his career.

Can't really see how we can ask for any more than that from the list management team.

Well done SOS and Blues. Solid and methodical. Ignoring the ridiculous noise.
