Would walk straight into our midfield.
Could we land,
Saad, Rockliff, Kennedy, Lang and Balic??
Worse case, pick 3 for Rayner..

Watching Dangerfield last night and all year, reckon the cats got him at a bargain. Cats are in the bix seat to win another flag soon, if not this year, off his back. He makes average players around him look like stars.

I'm also seeing a lot of likeness in size, sure handedness and style of play in him to Kelly.

Based on the mornings after effect and my epiphany moment after last nights siren, I say pursue Kelly aggressively and get him, and also Rockliff.

Some further smart recruiting around the edges, we aim for a premiership tilt inside 4 years. If we're bold enough, we cut Daisy loose (don't see him as future a premiership match winner) and shop Murphy around to test his market value (I like him, but it's more weighted around sentiment now).

:thumbsup: Jackpot! Don't think we need Lang. Haven't really paid attention to him, but his AFL and VFL stats are nothing special. Would also love to get Kelly in.

Agree if Balic and Lang are a conveniently priced ok do it , otherwise Kelly, Kennedy , Rockliff & Saad would be amazing outcome.
Hopefully that would cost us pick 3 and 2018 2nd rounder only or and Gibbs picks at worst.

Please please please...use pick 3 for the best available 18 yo mid in the draft. This is not negotiable IMHO

I reckon Dangerfield's success has made giving up two first round picks seem like a really astute thing to do. Not many going around as good a him though. I too hope we go to the draft.

Get the feeling there may be an announcement at the B & F tonight.
