Philips will bounce back after a solid pre-season, still think we will see some good footy from him. It forces us to play Gorringe in the ruck solo for the rest of the year forcing him to get proactive. Who knows what may come of it.

Adelaide star Rory Sloane's mission to return to form has been made easier after Carlton's No. 1 tagger was ruled out of the Blues' clash with the Crows on Saturday at the MCG.

Fairfax Media can reveal that Carlton stopper Ed Curnow was hospitalised on Sunday night as a precautionary measure after injuring his larynx earlier that day in the loss to Richmond at the MCG.

What's the point of the club doing an injury update?
Wasting everybody's time.

I was wondering the same thing. No mention of Curnow at all.

Ed Curnow to miss the next month.

Given Marchbank wasn't included in the report we can assume that he's fine to play this week?

A poster on a facebook group says that Marchbank has a fractured scapula bone and will miss at least 3-4 weeks.

Dr Larkins last sunday on the radio thought that maybe the case and thought Marchbank may miss 2-3 weeks

So Marchbank is out injured but not mentioned in the injury report?
