I can't for the life of me understand why Essendon* supporters hate us. No-one has consistently done more than we have during the drug years to make them feel good about themselves and give them hope no matter how bleak things may seem.

Weitering, Cunningham, SOS are all bonus for the year. Charlie will basically be a new recruit.
Phillips will be ok - has heart
Sumner and Plowman with a full pre-season will be good

Sam Docherty is quality
Simmo is a true warrior.

Dreadful forward line
Gibbs who chooses when he wants to go (or not)
Jones and Casboult are liabilities
Then weed out the just not up to it - Graham, White, Everett

If the club comes out and says we're going to extend our 66 game rebuild to a 110 game rebuild, but the difference is we'll de-list all the shit kicks and pea hearts and just recruit players who can kick and will have a crack, I think we'll all accept that.

That's the story, not only for this season, but the last 15 years. Too many players that either can't kick or don't give enough effort.

Jones is contracted for next year, $375k

Great list management, we improved it last year but it's going to take at least two more years if not more.

a crock of shit, at least i'll save some time by not watching the it.

In the last 4 weeks we have:
Been thrashed by a fast-running StKilda which broke the world record for uncontested marks inside fifty.
Been beaten by Brisbane (17th) who ran us ragged all over the park.
Beaten Melbourne by running the ball and putting pressure on the ball and the ball carrier. And kicking straight.
Been beaten by Essendon* (18th) who ran us ragged and almost beat St Kilda's inside marks record for three quarters before running out of puff.

Gibbs played a blinder last week but this week he decided to run around the oval looking good and getting easy possessions. He did lift in the fourth when it was all over. He is not held accountable for his lack of consistency and I wold get rid of him in a heartbeat for the right pick because to a team like Adelaide, he would help them to a flag.
He will not be around when we are challenging. Mind you, even Weitering might have retired by then based on tonight's pathetic showing by the team.

I can't believe I have that game to think about for the next six months while the Essendon* supporters, players and staff have been given a massive boost to take them into the off season.

It's 2:00 in the morning here. How on earth am I supposed to get to sleep with my gut churning like this?

He finished up OK against Melbourne and I was hoping he would bring that form to the game tonight.
I missed almost all the first half thanks to a blackout here in the village but I don't recall seeing him get a kick for the entire game.
