Does Weitering get a lower leg injury every week?

The ground is pleasant enough and reminds me of suburban footy. MORE TOILETS THOUGH.

Apparently Trigg said on radio Hawforn requested us back in Tasmania next year?

If true. .that would be expected because a sell out gives hawthorn the gate receipts

We played the conditions well and I wouldn't mind if we play there again.
Carlton has a good supporter base in Tassie so it makes sense.
I just hope if we do travel there again that the AFL only gives us 4 interstate games so we only have to travel 5 times and not 6 like this year.

And not give us two trips in two weeks!

We all know that the AFL will look after us don't we?

Tell the Hawks we'll also request the match if they give us a % of the gate otherwise we'll play at the MCG thanks.

So much to like. Just need better skills (talent?) to execute better going forward. As good as our endeavour and defence is, we just can't score at the moment.

We've had hope in the past, like e do now, but this is a very different side. I hope we're looking 3-4 years into the future though.

That post match press conference was the best (from many good) from Bolts I've seen. This bloke will take us to a flag. I have no doubt.

The fact we keep playing an 18yo who has been battered from pillar to post makes me wonder if we're looking even one week into the future.

Can't say brave (trademarked) loss.

Honourable. And it was. Our kingdom for a bit more experience from our forwards and having McKay / Curnow in.

And another speedy mid, preferably 2.

Might have been nice to play these games in reverse order.

Each time I've got the feeling we haven't quite believed we can win the game.

If we'd been competitive against Hawks first we may well have had more belief when playing the Swans and Eagles.

The next steps in our growth from being competitive to really challeging are steeper on the improvement curve. We might flat line next year

I believe that bolts has a policy to play through niggles, maybe weitering is learning to play with pain.

Will be interesting if they rest him next weeks or keep playing him in a bid to raise his pain threshold.

PROS:-

Cripps. Total man-crush! I said the other day he's every chance to go back-to-back B&F! What a ripper.
SOJ - LOVED that chase down. He's young, but averaging a goal a game. Keep going buddy!
Buckley - I reckon he belongs in this team.
Bokehurst - Nice. That's what we want. Not perfect, but is giving it a go! Keep it up.

CONS:-

Ruck - Can we cotinue to play Phillips and Kreuzer in the same side? I just don't think the 2-ruck combo works. Kreuzer though, is starting to string some games together. Maybe try him as a sole ruck? Perhaps he doesn't have the fitness? I don't know.
Levi - I said at the start of the year that minimum 30 goals would be a pass mark. He's nowhere near that. Just don't think he offers this team anything.
Everitt - Does bugger all, gets dropped. Shows brilliance in VFL, gets promoted back to seniors and then does bugger all again! It's like a freaken merry-go-round!
- FREE KICK HAWTHORN!!!!

Nah no chance. I personally can't see anybody beating Danger for it. He's been outstanding.

Cripps for most votes for the club though - maybe. Him and Gibbs would be the front runners.

Everitt laid a tackle. So that's a plus. I rewound the foxtel to make sure. Didn't have to chase, the guy ran into him, but baby steps I guess.

Are you sure he wasn't avoiding contact and the guy just ran the wrong way?
