Casboult has to go. Not one tackle, no second effort, no brains just 3 marks. Has he checked out?

Who replaces him? Though of that? Maybe pick a second one and give him some help. Our results this year show that we, and Casboult, have been alot better when we've picked a 2nd key forward. Hard work when you're the only one.

He had a 2nd forward today until ... you know...

I think we did alright with the umpiring today. This week coming is traditional 'get screwed by the umpires' round, so that should fix that.

Hawthorn are our test of honesty.... Have been for as long as I can remember.

Bolton has brought honesty to our playing group.

If we are honest we will lose quarters by 1-2 goals because of lower skills. If we match them for pressure we will lose by 4-8 goals. If we out compete them then we will get within 4 goals.

Reckon you're right Jim.
Jones in for Charlie.

I feel some sympathy for Casboult, it would be hard work in Carlton's forward line, but the lack of any pressure from him when the ball hits the ground is frustrating. The game has long passed by old fashioned mark and kick forwards like him.

Kane Cornes was scathing on him for lack of pressure acts.

I think is knees are stuffed since the injury and its holding him back agility and endurance wise. He was never that agile or quick anyway and this has made it much worse. Unfortunately we don't have any alternative right now so we have to keep flogging him while MacKay and Curnow mature.

Charlie had a knee brace on today after scans this afternoon. We should know more tomorrow. My guess is medial ligament.

We need to keep Casboult in to keep his currency up. Trade to Freo for pick 21.

Out Charlie In Jaksch

Fifth last game for the season.

Might be a week or so early for McKay but there will be a huge temptation to play him this week now Charlie is down.

Liam Jones or Everett will come in for Curnow.

Fremantle already traded their 2016 second round pick.
