As the 2016 season starts to come to an end, with us again out of the finals by a long way but with these 'shoots', what are you most looking forward to seeing? For me: - I want another couple of wins. I've missed that feeling. - I want to see McKay or Cuningham play a game in the ones - I want to see them use the LTI for Byrne on Gowers - I want Boekhorst to be selected this week and really perform like his pre-season promised And I'd really like to see a breakout game from a forward of any description, say a 3-4 goal game from Casboult or Silvagni, or a few goals from a Sumner or Lamb as a small. I just want some hope for that forward line. |

Much the same Ando. I really like Sumner's hustle and harassment in the forward line (last week's stinker notwithstanding) but I really want him to have a breakout game stats wise - really get involved and feel like he belongs. He's obviously good enough - just not sure if he knows that yet. I would love to see games for some of those blokes we're on the cusp of saying goodbye to. 2nd and 3rd year draftees that can't get a game in a side like ours are clearly on the way out but it would be nice to at least have a look at them. Also, wins matter. We're not coming last or second last. We're not making the 8 (or even top 12). So lets get a couple of wins in - a big one against ** and another one against a quality opposition. And competitiveness right up to the siren. And more orange socks. I like them. |

Continuity. I want our young players to just keep building, injury free. They have the talent... just don't get injured ! |

I want us to give Essendon* a thrashing and for McKay, Curnow, Weiters, Silvagni to all keep getting games (and Cunningham) |

1. Lose every game honourably to gain the best possible draft picks. Except to the drug cheats. 2. Play our kids and give continuity. Harry, Boek, DVR, Gowers, JGM, Cuningham, I would love to see have a go even if some are out of their depth. Consequentially do not play those who are not the future. 3. No injuries. 4. And when we play the bummers, smash them. I mean really hurt them. Crucify them. Get it. ![]() |

Okay, this is the third time I've said this, but I think we will rest players against Brisbane for management of injuries and exhaustion purposes; probably your second point will come to fruition. This will also be potentially influential in the spoon race too. |

1: A look at DVR before the season is out. 2: Boekhorst and Jaksch to show they belong at this level. 3: A couple of high possession games from Sumner. 4: Senior games for McKay and Cuningham. 5: Continued game time for Curnow, Weitering & Silvagni 6: Solid form from a few of our I contracted players that could be on the trade table. 7: A couple more wins. |

Six more wins, all other results to go our way, and a chance to play finals? If that's possible, that's what I want. Unable to make the top eight in a field of 18 means failure. |

For the lats 4 games of the year (St Kilda / Brisbane / Melbourne / Essendon*) I think it would be a perfect time to blood as many youngsters as we can. - Give McKay / Cunningham a run, - Play BB for the remainder of the season to see where he's at. - Keep Buckley in the seniors for the rest of the season. - Play a forward line of McKay / SOS / Curnow for a few games to see how they go. ........... Oh! And SMASH Essendon*! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Games into Silvagni Curnow and Weitering As many games as possible into McKay and Cunningham Try DVR Bokehurst and Jaksch continue to get games and look like senior footballers Buckley graham given opportunities to develop and assess whether they will make it Phillips Plowman and sumner continue to develop and become regulars and senior players important to structure and team Docherty fast tracked as a leader |

Everyone has their own opinion but two things we agree on. Play the young guys. Confidence, game time, do we keep on list, what ever. AND SMASH THE DRUG CHEATS. |

Hope that the Saints have a sniff at finals and we end that hope. I'm still hurting from that loss. |

Developing players in Seniors: More games for experience and to build endurance for Philips Weitering Silvagni and Curnow. I want to see some of that preseason form from Cuningham in the seniors. McKay to make his senior debut for a taste. Find a spot in the Seniors: Boekhurst to play every game for the rest of the season. Play Jaksch forward and or back to find out his best spot, and build confidence. I reckon he's a KPB. Find out more: Want to see Rainbow and Gowers earn a couple of games to see where they are at. Play Gorringe more time in the ruck in the NBs for his development. Buckley to be given more games. Lets find out if he's got a spot. Smith, Foster need to show something ,and Graham, Whiley need to prove they can excel in Seniors Continued improvement in Glass McCasker Wins: Win the last 4-5 games in a row...build momentum for preseason and season 2017. Break the Hawks hoodoo. Make Carlton an even more attractive destination Must thrash Druggies in last round. Announcements: Announcement of Walker's and Jamison's retirement and a last game send off against Hird's Druggies. Operate on Kreuzer if needed to allow him a strong preseason. Wipe the club's debt! |
