I didn't see the game - had to lose Foxtel for financial constraints.... but:

AFL has White our best player. Jimmae is your comment a) you disagree with that, b) match-ups or c) your normal view?

ps I think Bolton prefers two rucks - at all opportunities he selects it that way

You can't have Levi, Phillips, Kruezer and Rowe all in the same side. We need to drop one and add some agility into the side.

Gowers and Jack couldn't be far away from senior action... JG-M & DVR not far behind them.

Gowers especially if a suitable role is available.

Take your pick between him and Everitt; whichever one will do more for us up forward. I see it as a coin flip, so it'll come down to matchups.

We were too tall, and that's partly through desperation, and partly because they were unwilling to give some kids a chance. Buckley and DVR put their hand up, and that should be acknowledged.

Phillips was a total @#$%&! drain of resources for what he delivered; send him back to the VFL where he gets more minutes and less pressure to work on everything except his centre bounce efforts. I don't care if we use Levi, Rowe, Everitt or Cripps as a backup to Kreuzer, it's still going to ultimately be better for the team than 75 minutes a game from Phillips.

Perhaps Gowers in to a halfback role and move Docherty into a mid role ...?

Perhaps, but I'm not sure Docherty is consistently agile enough to really break away from clearances or feed the ball out.

Probably more a case of pushing he or Simpson to a high-half forward role that sits around stoppages, so something like this:

FB: Byrne Rowe Plowman
HB: Gowers Weitering Tuohy
C: Thomas Docherty Murphy
HF: Wright Casboult Simpson

It's definitely an option, but I think DVR and Buckley's run and willingness to take the game on, as well as DVR's skill by foot and Buckley's skill by hand opens the game up more where we need the help: quick movement from the inside the stoppage.

We make it that Simmo will hit 256 games this week, overtaking Brett Ratten as our 10th most played Blue.

Levi and Rowe are no different to any other side in the competition who have a CHB and CHF. Those you need. I've always felt we just go with one ruck and Casboult picking and extra runner or extra key forward. Each week I've wanted Jaksch to play, and he's had a great VFL season, but yesterday was his first shocker.

According to multiverse theory, somewhere there is a parallel universe right now where you're in charge of the club and have your way with it, and it's just you standing on a pile of rubble with a CFC flag with an unbelievable sense of self-fulfilment.

Take some solace in that.

I take solace in the fact that you had to read a book on multiverse theory before you wrote the above post.
