Loving the positive from you keogh.

Reckon you can run a seminar or a workshop for Synbad, Doc Sherrin and Rhys26?

Synbad is Syn-banned and I'm barely a passive viewer of the code these days so not sure what a workshop of this nature achieves... but do appreciate being thought of Jimm. Be sure to PM if you're facilitating it.

I know you don't mention footy much any more, but I'm always pleased to see you here - mainly for that avatar of Battle of the Planets.

Was it Ko-Bop?

I don't give a toss about any of that though. We have a lot of ground to make up and must not get this 'reset' wrong. So far so good and certainly looks like we have learnt what is needed and are on the right track (finally), but long way to go yet!

Bulltish. Synbad has gone waaaaay past that. To the point where he has repeatedly said that our club is unfixable. Where is the little sniper? He has gone quiet .

The problem was the Madhouse and those who made the ridiculous decision to appoint him.

Even Synbad would have been a better coaching appointment.

Not trying to take anything away from Bolton ... he has been fabulous ... but I will say that just about anyone would have been a breath of fresh air.

Amusing that on field improvement automatically translates to a better functioning board.

The fact that we went through a process to find our coach translates to a better functioning board.

The fact that it appears (although early doors) that the process resulted in the right coach is testament that the correct people were selected for the process

Our on field improvement has nothing to do with the board, our off field improvement has EVERYTHING to do with the board.

He's not little.
He is KPF size.
Played for Prahran.
Knows a bit about the game.
Does lead with his jaw at times.
Like all humans, doesn't get it right every time.

He did want Kerridge many years ago. Didn't want Cripps.

Awww touching!
But disagree, his views were rusted on, non compromising and just tiresome. The board can only control what they can control. Sos, trigg, bolton, angwyn, sponsors.
They all have lifted the place in different ways. So why all the angst in the face of obvious improvement.
We all want the best for the club , thats why we are here. But his carping, his berating, his ridiculing, bullying and belittling of posters on here, should be pointed out for what it is. It wasnt constructive. It wasnt nice. It wasnt even intelligent.

Jimmae happy to have you make a contribution and support your right to your opinion and perhaps this is gratuitous advice but mate your playing angry at the moment - I know some are giving you the treatment but in my view you should take a couple days/ a week sabbatical from this place and come back refreshed and ready to debate some issues /not the people but issues issues and not every issue just some of them - Your anger is colouring your views and clouding your judgment on some issues - pull back a bit for your own sake

Post of the week, someone kicks the club in the guts for years then comes out to declare we are back.
As fickle as they come.

As fickle as they come.

So you're saying those who've been critical of the clubs performance in the past are fickle ?

I'm saying those that jump back on board and talk about 'being back' after a great win are fickle - taking into consideration their previous comments, such as after the Sydney game "gibbs and Kreuzer could get dropped" type stuff.

I'm glad he's happy though, especially after the constant whining about how shit the club is.

Lose this week and it'll be "the board have to go" and "why did we get Trigg" type stuff

No need to get personal Tommi
And many people on this site were idiots thinking we could go anywhere by appointing a bloke on his passed record with no interview process with a bogan President pulling the strings
It's a forum
Anyone and evryone is entitled to their opinion

I'm sure knowing your hobby which I share ( playing in bands) has had you scratching your head as to why humans do stupid things
I ain't perfect but the last band I was in had a lead singer who didn't own a chordless mic but insisted we hire one and charge the audience the $80 hire fee on top of the bill. He rarely left the stage anyway and share the love with the audience. You and I know that's [REDACTED].
I said to the other guys I wasn't playing with anyone on stage if that continued because that's treating people like shit
You can guess the rest mate. The singer quit and the band dissolved
The point is that flower destroy things
And many people don't fully get it
You might but others don't fully understand through ignorance a lack of life experience or being just thick
Anyway Tommi enjoy the ride hope your skins are sounding great
Cheers Keogh

And you don't get it either
Kreuzer was a liability
Gibbs was lazy
Your one of those blokes who don't understand that with poor leaders others won't perform to their max

Gibbs is getting 30 plus every week but that ain't the reason I'm happy with him
He plays like he cares
He plays with passion I haven't seen in the ten years he has been at the club
And that's a fact I assume you follow the same club don't you
As I said Gibbs and co are finally realising that this is how it should be
You can thank the people who appointed Bolton
You get the right people everyone will buy in
Calling me fickle is a bit of an insult
I lost count how many games I went to where we got flogged
Or watched games on Tv
Or payed my membership

Face it mate
Your namesake was a moron when it came to doing anything admin wise off the field
Imo there is nothing wrong in saying that just because you have supported the club
That ain't being fickle
That's being realistic
I'm sure your happy we have got sos back because he clearly can pick good talent unlike Hughes
He didn't want anything to do with the club until certain people had gone
So he must be fickle as well

All Synbad, Doc Sherrin, Rhys, myself and a few others (Keogh) have been doing is pointing this out, and wanting us to get better and not to accept mediocrity.

And out of those names, who hasn't bought a membership in 2016? :smoking: :smoking: :smoking: :smoking:
