One of those games where Carlton matched the opposition in terms of inside 50s in the first half but could not take enough marks inside 50. When opportunities were there they were missed (Casboult).

It isn't surprising that midfielders/defenders drop their heads when there is such little reward for effort due to the poor forward line.

Disappointing that Cripps doesn't get much protection.

People will have a fit sack Gibbs drop Murphy etc but the lack of reward for effort is the biggest issue.

I love it when the opposition miss after the siren.

That footage of Boekhorst laughing post siren makes me sick. No hurt. Shit culture that needs to be turned around.

Gibbs lack of intensity a barometer
Cripps and Weitering valiant but Weitering so classy
Simmo tough as nails
Curnow worked his butt off
Byrne lost
Umpiring disgraceful
Kicking worse
Zero marking targets
Overcooked completed butchered possessions
Enough with the handballs already
Out of legs early

Pros: I get a free Big Mac tomorrow

our forward 50 was a ghost town tonight.

too many errors, forced to go backwards due to noone leading, poor skills, too easily run over the top of.

i would hate to be in bolton's shoes

we have kernels of hope, but we have far too much dead wood

that was a 'tear strips off the walls, rock up early monday for punishment training' kind of performance

pretty pathetic

'rebuilding' or not.

Gibbs basically sledged Casboult during the half time interview when he said the lack of reward for effort was so disheartening.

Apalling game by senior players. Murph you, Gibbs, Thomas (as usual). Midfield was smashed again

Kept them under 100 second team this year

Lost by under 60pts the second time this year

Jamo/Rowe are closer to being dropped

Byrne, Weitering and Curnow all positives

Gold Coast would be a tad worried after that effort.

Very disheartening watching our players have no emotion after a loss. I'm sure Boeky wasn't the only one but that image is a major concern. He should be dropped for it.

He had a terrible game too IMHO. I think we are officially the BYE now.

Will be a great test of Bolton's will and patience. Also the message will ring hollow if we don't win a game.
