Simply ran out of legs which leads to mistakes. Will get better. Very happy with game plan. Lets hope the young key forwards develop quickly. |

We were the better team. Those two 50m frees were BS and telling in the end. Unforced turnovers and inaccurate kicking will do us in all season long. |

Loved it. Exciting to watch. We'll be very good in a few years. Not bothered about win/loss and I loved what I saw...completely different team. I look at us like GWS now - we're gonna show some great glimpses into the future and we'll godown gallantly in games we deserve the win for. Sit tight and enjoy the ride, lots to like. |

The SEC just took Yallourn B offline in anticipation of high increase of electricity consumption due to increased use of microwave ovens post match. ![]() |

Have to be happy with what we saw. Looked great. So good to see. Not too many pats on the back though as we should've won. Kicking and composure. |

Our energy and work was fantastic. Especially Cripps, murphy, Blaine, walker and kruezer. Weitering is amazing! I have been in the U.S. And hdnt seen him until now. Wow, Phillips tap work was terrible. Below par and noticeable. Casboult hasn't improved...ultra frustrating! All in all, happy with the plan. |

Need to find a big marking ,goal kicking forward. Nothing changed my mind on the players we need to replace before being good. Loved the rest of what i saw though. Go blues. How exciting! |

The 50 metre penalties weren't the reason we lost. We lost because we didn't take our chances early and two crucial errors swung the game. One was a White turnover and the other was the Everitt spilled mark. We could have and should have won. Great game nonetheless and the endeavour was there. The tackling was a lot better. The running and support was much better. Weitering will be a good player Boekhurst has improved out of sight. Graham is in our best 22. Murphy a good game Cripps goes without saying. On the negative side: That is probably as good a side as we can put on the park at the moment and Richmond were injury depleted. I thought the rucks were well beaten. We need to convert our inside 50s better I thought we would run the game out better and I really thought we would win being in front at 3/4 time. Looking forward to watching the team grow. They'll win games if they turn up like that every week. |

I think I'd feel less pissed off if we'd been thumped by 10 goals. So near and yet so far. Murphy and Cripps lack of condition told in the end, hope they both pull up okay. I have a nagging feeling this may be the story of our year. Honourable losses while the season is young, followed by some thumpings as the long, hard season tells on the kids. Caboult. Gee, what can you say? Each time he was lining up I was praying someone would run past for the handball. He's a mark and kick player who can't kick a goal to save himself. Too slow to apply pressure when the ball hits the ground. Really hard to justify his place in the side. Considering the players Richmond had out I don't think we should get too carried away with this effort. We lost to a good ordinary side, no more than that. |

Couldn't have asked for much more. Levi's kicking seems to have gone backwards. What happened? He looked like he was past the yips last season. The lack of a goal kicking target was probably the difference in the end. And a class crumber. Imagine Fev and Eddie out there tonight... Bring on Silvagni Curnow and McKay in the next few years! Weitering and Cripps will be legends of the club which we haven't seen the likes of for a long time. Gibbs and murph were both brilliant tonight. All class. Kerridge had a couple of shocking clangers. Hope tonight was an exception. |
