I did a job out there years ago, and a bloke told me they couldn't demolish the Gardner stand as the lattice work on it made it heritage listed. The sooner they get on with it the better . Something , anything , to try and restore the joint to anything like it used to be . Boys , don't get me wrong , i'm not against new stuff around the joint . Its just the whole thing looks like a disjointed mishmash . Just add on , and add on , and no clear future vision . |

It wasn't all that long ago that multiple possum families called the Gardiner Stand home until they were evicted by a fox who took up residence in their stead. I'd like to see the seating removed from in front of the stand, so that the history is showcased more. I think there'd be less of this disjointed mishmash if that were the case. |
