I'd like to see the Pratt Stand completely gutted and a shared netball/basketball community-use/elite development centre built that extended from the grassy knoll to the start of the Legends Stand. I'd also rip out the Heroes Stand and build corporate office space for current leaseholders - AFL Victoria, AFL umpires and the AFL Victoria women's academy. The Gardiner Stand stays and gets a facelift, including the space underneath. The seating in front of the Gardiner and Heroes Stands goes.

What are you proposing we replace the seating with?

So your plan is to make it a 12,000 seat stadium?

14,270 actually - but you get my gist. It has a place - but not as an AFL venue.

I prefer 'irrelevant' to 'crap' - but each to their own MF.

I don't think I've ever asked - are you a rusted on member or is it a year-to-year proposition?

Crap is good for growing real grass. I prefer the artificial variety though.

Controlling tenant of the MCG? Is that what you meant? Because Collingwood don't have much to do with this new stadium.

pies have control of the MCG already

if maguire is pushing the alternative stadium - its a given he wants the greater control - he wouldn't be doing it otherwise

for gods (if there is one) sake - Carlton is disappearing as a force at such a rate of knots, the members couldnt care, only to the extent that they get their fair share of party pies at the next AGM :hitcomputer: :hitcomputer: :hitcomputer: :hitcomputer: :hitcomputer:
