It's not too early to start this thread is it? Predictions?

Armfield forward tag on Yarran?
Weitering straight to Riewoldt?
Midfield of Murphy, Cripps, Kreuzer, Gibbs, Thomas, Graham, Simpson, Kerridge and Curnow dominate Richmond and send a warning to the competition? Walker takes an early contender for mark of the year?

It ll go down like this:
- Tiges get the early jump
- We re still in the game in general play, but just cant put the score on the board.
- Tiges are 28 pts up midway through the 3rd, when Yarran tries one of his smarta*se sprints out of defence, only for Big Levi to run across his path and BANG!!! Lights out for Yazz.
- The crowd explodes, especially the feral Tiges fans at the Punt Road End,
- Richmond are rattled and start going the man, taking their focus off the task at hand
- Carlton gets inspired by Levi's big hit, and all of a sudden the rub of the green starts going our way
- Bolton's big summer focus on fitness pays massive dividends, as Carlton runs over the top of the Tiges in the last term for a famous 3 point win.
- Weitering Rising Star nomination after keeping Jack goalless.

Again, Richmond will cheer Yarran to try and drown out our boos. Try and boo loudly.

We had better make the most of this Thursday night game ... cos we aren't going to get any Fridays this year.

love Trigg putting Robbo in his place saying "it's not only the blues who don't have a Friday night fixture"

In other words go call the 5 or 6 other clubs who don't have a Friday night game you twit

Hopefully they've given us lots of Saturday afternoon instead

But we're probably stuck with 3.20pm Sunday games

Slobbo wanted to give our Round 1 game against Richmond to the Western Bulldogs.

Of course no mention of maybe Essendon* not deserving the Dreamtime or ANZAC Day game.

Although I haven't read the article because I'm to cheap to pay the Herald-Sun subscription.

Not great for sponsorship but I'm pleased. We've been awful under the friday night spotlight for years.

Hate to say it but I agree - we need to regroup, refocus and rebuild. The dollars need to be delayed - we have to have something credible to sell before we're out there again.
