Andy was on this morning, as per usual, nothing much to say

- Dont believe everything you read in the paper ie GWS 4 for 1 deal. We obviously are interested in some of the talent from GWS.
- Hendo wants to go to Geelong. There was no in principle deal. Keeping an eye on the dangerfield situation as geelong dont have to trade for him, but there could be some good will there.
- Are hoping to get first round pick for Hendo as that is what he is worth.
- Regarding Yarren, he wants to go to Richmond, but Richmond have not yet approached Carlton with an offer. He is contracted so he is definetely no out the door yet.
- Players are buoyed by the changes that are being made at the club.

Thats it. No talk of Carlisle interest or anything else.

Much better than last year. Gave nothing away. Not telling the entire world what our plans are. Keep it up Macca - SOS would be proud.

Geelong don't have to trade? I thought Adelaide had said they will match the offer and force a trade?

Besides saying 'we're interested in Carlisle, he's a quality player' what else were you hoping to hear from him?

I wanted to hear the specific details on what we're prepared to give up and what Essendon* want and what carlisle had for breakfast.

Could be worse, but I wish he wouldn't use the word 'hope' and 'first round pick' in the same sentence. If it's our opening bid I don't think we'll be getting it.

As long as the veterinarian is running our footy department and allowed to do as he pleases, we're going nowhere in a massive hurry.

He just comes across as really monotone, its not so much as what he says or not says. He does not seem vibrant and positive.

Carlton as a club are not very good at playing games, on the field or off. It will be interesting.

Agree. There's a direct link between tone of voice in a radio interview and successful football departments.

Interesting comments about Danger.
What if we told Gell we would take Danger in PSD them trade him to Geel at the end of next year for something less than Adel are demanding? We essentially HELP Geel. You scratch my back and ...

And....we all get busted for draft tampering.

You really think that's going to work?

I think it would work better than the other hair brained idea in the paper relating to keeping comp pick in the picture and still getting Geelongs pick 9 for a c listed player.

Now that's draft tampering

Adelaide walking a tightrope here......2 years ago they were nailed for salary cap, I would expect nothing short of worse penalties if they're found guilty of draft tampering for recidivist activities and thumbing their noses at AFL rules again in such a short space of time

I would be incredibly surprised Geelong would sully their credibility by being a part of such blatant cheating just so they get a player they should be paying nothing to get except the terms of the contract

Adelaide might shoot everyone here with their actions.

It goes against the spirit of FA and will mean the AFLPA will want even more flexibility for players to leave.

Not draft tampering. Dangerfield has apparently said if forced into the draft he's nominating only one year. He's allowed to do that. If it's the PSD then take him then get a first rounder, 2nd rounder and a good player the next year in a trade. That's how the system works.

Yes they are.

But I think the purpose of that was that they could keep players, not keep them so they can then trade away immediately.

Smart business, but not really what the AFLPA had hoped for when they introduced FA into the mix.
