The votes have been cast and the stage has been set – the only question that remains: who will be Carlton’s 2015 John Nicholls Medallist?

Carlton’s best and fairest, the John Nicholls Medal, is on this Thursday night at Crown Palladium.

*********************

The award’s namesake, former premiership player, captain and coach John Nicholls, was a five-time Carlton best and fairest winner.

The voting system involves five members of Carlton’s match committee who independently submit their votes after each round. Each may award a maximum of 20 votes, to be shared among the players of their choice. Committee members are not compelled to award all or any of their votes.

Stay tuned to the Carlton website where we'll have full coverage of the night, including a live stream, blog and wrap up from the Blue carpet.

Tuohy, Bell & Simpson will be looking to spoil that party.

My MVP voting had Murphy & Cripps tied and a fair way ahead of the rest. The way the votes are done tho it's an advantage to have played more games, so that might help a few others to close the gap.

Would love it to go to Cripps to round off a great start to his career.
