Would you live with getting picks 1 (priority), 2 and retain Kreuzer?

Not going to happen. I will live with 1 & 2 following a consistent application of FA compensation guidelines. Not too much to ask, is it?

That's a most arousing thought, but I cannot see it happening.

Fight the fight on the battlefield. This is like carpet bombing, lots of collateral damage but little gain.

I want 1. Maybe 2 if MK leaves. If not move on a deal with those that want out.

For Gods sake when did we get reduced to this?

The difference between coming last and winning the premiership in terms of the draft is one player. Think about it, before all the compo and trading, the premier will have the pick next to us for the rest of the draft apart from the first pick. So we get one extra elite player to include on match day of 22 players. That isn't much.

This is professional sport. It highly competitive, but you also have an administration who love to meddle to produce outcomes. They can't resist. Look at HQ's outrage when their plan to get Buddy to GWS was foiled.

So, our mismanaged club of the last two decades has to use every bit of leverage we have to try and climb back up the ladder. The battlefield is on and off the field, and every other club is trying to sneak an inch. That's the reality of AFL at the moment.

The 1,3 and 19 dream lives on.....many hurdles to surpass but if anyone thinks this club is same old then they need to open their eyes wide open.

They'll @#$%&! up at some stage but seriously it's so far removed from the Carlton of old it's ridiculous.

Don't @#$%&! it up Trigg and Gooch, doing a wonderful job. Three pillars, accountability, transparency and honesty. It's all the members want!!!!

When he writes a letter that says they've decided not to let flowers like Edelsten anywhere near the place I'll sign up again.

Hopefully Bolton tells him to duck off

And desperation.

Incredibly shallow comment Wild Blue, he's our Warwick Capper. Embarrassing as hell but no less passionate than the most passionate supporter out there.

Need to get over the fact he's like you with a bit of cash.

Personally don't like him myself but if he's a barometer of your allegiance then you need to get a grip!!

You're right. I like seeing him sitting in the coaches box. It is actually a good look. Thanks for the advice.

The same place you'd like to be without stumping up the cash, sorry mate but he's a groupie like you and me and whether we like it or not he's well entitled to be in the coaches box of he pays the price. I can't afford it but it's a business whether you like it or not.

Looking into my crystal ball ....

#1. We will rebuild and have a real crack at finals in the not too distant future.

#2. We will watch Essendon* over the same time period go nowhere.

Why 1 and 3?
If Kruezer leaves it should be 1 and 2 unless we agree to trade it. Why should be bow down to corrupt manipulation of the system?
Do you think the AFL would take pick 2 of Brisbane if they finished last? I doubt it.

The AFL were quick to kick us when we cheated the system. As far as I'm concerned, assessing Kruezer as less than James Frawley is blatant cheating as well.

Not at all. The precedence was set last year.

'But the Blues' move didn't come in reaction to the Lions. They flagged it with the AFL at their meeting in June when the league had already done a 10-year analysis of the Blues list and drawn its own grim conclusion.'

Yep. Again the AFLs meddling has resulted in them making a rod for their back. Again.
