In fact-that should be the brotherly pact they make to Doc...make sure you're ready for September

I'm not giving up on the fact that we are a smoky to make the 8

The media can smell blood after hearing about Dochertys injury. flower pr!cks

We are in for a tough year with no Gibbs and Docherty. We cannot afford to lose any more quality players or we could be heading for another spoon

Hopefully us supporters stick fat, stay patient and continue in this journey together

Apathetic Carlton supporters tossing up whether to buy a membership, kids tossing up who to barrack for, and opposition supporters who get off on our misfortune.

If we are relying on a very good HBF to carry us to finals then SOS has failed.

Bolton is right, big loss, but someone will step up. I reckon Doc and Bolton are probably right now challenging the junior players to step up and asking who will it be who will step up to the plate.

Pickett is worth a go at HBF, Byrne and Williamson good enough in the air. Reckon Jack might be tried there too, his reading of the play is good.

If anything it’s a free hit at the season.

Another spoon in the next draft is not so horrid, the possibility of receiving additional compensation pick too makes it almost dare I say neccessary.

Our aim should now be to surpass our 16 premierships with spoons or no1 picks ... I'm sure this will keep us all positive in our future!

The dilemma Bolts faces is does he strt to introduce a more offensive style or will he have to play a more ultra defensive style now that Gibbs and Docherty won’t be out there to avoid blow outs?

I hope to see us add some more flare to our game style and see more of the boys playing on instinct even if that comes at heavy price.

Before Doc getting injured I had us winning the same amount of games next year as we did this. So I’m not bothered. I’d just like to see some players let of the leash a bit so long as they work hard the other way and give it absolute crack out there
