The industry is incestuous and they really don't give a fig about who they hire as long as it nets them a Premiership.

The sooner we park our ethics, the saner we will become.

In saying that, FMD.

Quote:
IF you’re under any illusions as to how vociferously Brent Stanton’s family supported Carlton, ponder the christian name they gave this football club’s recently appointed development coach on the day of his birth on the first day of May back in 1986.

“I know I was named after Brent Crosswell. That’s how far back the connection goes,” Stanton said this week.

“I’ve never met Brent and I’ve only seen highlights of him, but gee he was an impressive player. Hopefully one day I get to meet him.”

As Stanton’s parents and his brother and sisters were all true Blue, there was never any doubt his childhood allegiances would be channelled towards the club for whom Crosswell so spectacularly turned out. As he said: “I was a Carlton supporter as a kid, and I suppose the rule in our household was that if you weren’t a Carlton supporter you couldn’t live at home”.

Perfect fit for Carlton.

He's back at home and escaped his drug affliction at Bomberland.
Carlton will heal all those systemic puncture marks he gathered over there.

No way he should come to this club.
He has demonstrated his flogness too consistently for too long.

Interesting that he's taking over the defence as part of his role.

So now we have both Watson (replaced by Teague) and Amos (Bruce) with new roles.

My interest is in a new effective forward structure not built around Levi.

Has Amos left or in a new role?

With the loss of Gibbs and Docherty (for 2018) the club may go backwards in terms of wins/losses next year, with the possibility of many big losses.

The scum in the media will go after Bolton, there is no doubt about it - hopefully the club is past panicking and making any silly decisions when the big losses inevitably come.

No let's not all capitulate.

We've got Crippa and Ed back, we add a ready made Kennedy and Lang and an improved SPS Cunners and Polson. We also get Byrne back in defence and a reanother ready made rebounder in Mullett.

Absolutely no cause for wrist slashing.

Agree - media is just white noise. Also Kennedy will be a great asset and opportunities for the 2nd and third year players are plenty.
