So Bolton decided today to change us from the “lose” to “win” setting?

Last week we had a shit list, this week we have a top 8 side?

Not sure why you’re asking me that, given I’ve said neither of those things.

Just replying to your post of 'win' Vs 'lose'. Many used the excuse that our list is shit. It was Malthouse/Pagan/SOS's fault etc etc. I say we've got a great young list capable of anything, I hope they continue attacking like today.

Very happy for Bolton, on a human level the guy has taken a lot, and kept smiling.
I’m not sold on him, but fair play to him, seeing Cripps give him a big hug was ❤️

I love how when Bolton celebrates a goal he covers his mouth so no-one can see what he says to himself

Good to get the 100 point monkey off the back as well.

As much as folks in here downplayed it, that's all the media have been reporting for such a long time and it must have been so annoying for all involved to constantly hear it. Cripps definitely sounded relieved in his post game interview.

But I'm sure Derwayne will start a 1/30 something...

If Mitch McGovern had been standing on the goal line last week, we'd be in 12th position right now.
Ponder that.
Not blaming him for the loss, just looking at the maths of where we are on the ladder.

And take 50% of our chances and we could be in the 8 ? Had to get some belief out of that win today. We had a lot of guys in the middle, but I like the way they all got back into the big circle for the song.

Wow - 12th. We can only ponder what might've been  .

We can't underestimate the influence of Andrew Russell on this team. Yep we butchered our way to 4 losses in a row but we were in each game. The improvement in Samo, and the rehab for players like Willo and McCreadie who have not been rushed back, but look like being ready to make an impact for probably 3/4 of the season. Even big Levi is running out games and consistently making an impact.

He's our best recruit for 2019 for mine.

Great to see a win and good on Bolton.

Why don’t we play like that all the time? Quick ball movement makes all the difference

i loved his presser after the win. looking ahead, if we stay healthy we could win 3 of the next four. what a turn around that would be.

And Kreuzer was immeasurably important for us today - and we can probably credit Russell with that too.

So all those who are claiming that Bolton adjusted the gameplan to make us play better are acknowledging that he is a good coach.

While all those saying he didn’t adjust the gameplan, just that the players executed better are also saying he is a good coach.

Right?

The message changed. It all of a sudden was about wins and losses and the importance of winning.
Last week sent a shock wave through the club.
Yes winning matters.

Let's hope that the message stays on track and we start to consistently win again
