Gold statue at Princes Park thanks. What he had done in 18 months is nothing short of a miracle and it's only going to get better

It's amazing what can happen when the club actually follows a diligent process when hiring a coach.

Great work Bolts. Phenomenal performance so far, high hopes for the future.

Don't often watch the opposition coach's presser but I did today.

Seems our defensive set ups and structures, if nothing else, receive legitimate respect.

A small example perhaps of the wider respect we are now receiving. No longer the league laughing stock.

I'd go one step further and say we are now a destination club.

For the first time in about a decade I reckon you can say there are players in the current Carlton team who could one day play in a premiership for us.

Without a doubt. We are forming a Premiership team.

Greg Denham and Ro Co praising us on SEN. Not fake news!

Denham gushing over us and how much he used to bag Jones and how greatche was as a back man...also how we were down Silvagni and Rowe..
Very refreshing. Tis a good morning folks.

What's so important about wins like this, is it underlines the message that Bolts is sending. Do "A" and we will be successful.
I am also loving that despite so much youth, we fly the flag for each other. Do something untoward to one of our players, and their mates make a stand.

Coach's was pretty good too. Wasn't fussed we won, was happy his players got reward for their efforts after a run of weeks where they could have/should have/might have.

He knows they're playing for him and wants to see them get the success they deserve.

I just want to point out, the record (aka: our coach thread a few years back) shows that I wanted to bring Bolton in...... and I made the comment 6 weeks before Malthouse was actually shown the door... as per my tag line.

In closing, I'm nostra-fucking-damus.

Easy fellow TCers.

I too am a fan of Bolton and the direction Carlton's now heading but the reality is that we're 4 wins from 11 starts.

As an aside, one of the media dip-sh*ts, (BT or Darcy I think), was rabbiting on about how last year Bolton elevated us to 7 wins and this year we're really kicking on with 4 wins already. I think mathematically we're more or less the same.

Ha. I wouldn't be going on about BT and Darcy if I were you.....

Yes, but we are playing a lot more kids. We have turned over a heap over senior players, replaced them with teenagers and are playing harder, more consistent footy.

To be honest I wouldn't be too concerned if we were zero wins at this stage. It is the way we are playing that is important. We have a more obvious game plan and far superior structures than when Ratten was coaching and we were playing finals. We are playing tough 2 way footy. We are prone to the odd shocker of a quarter, half, or even whole game (ala port) which is a result of having so many kids in the team. But they will become less and less
