Roy Keane was asked about Arsenal's chance in the EPL, his response could have equally applied to Carlton... Quote: What about Arsenal's chances in the League, Roy, they're looking stronger this year?
"Ahhhh listen," he said, cocking his head to one side, "we've the same thing ...[every year]. "There's too many Arsenal players interested in selfies, I think, whatever they are ... "Instead of focusing on winning Premier League titles, it's all about how their bodies look, how their hair is, more so than winning football matches, which is the way things are going ..." |

anyone catch that bit of TV coverage where there was a kid dressed in clown suit, with a CFC membership around his neck. one of the classy commentators said, 'oh that's the Carlton sub' after which much chuckling from the entire panel ensued. we were not amused. ![]() (we being the dog and me, who were the only ones prepared to try and watch the match. ![]() |

We are Liverpool. Heap of titles, not much recent success and losing key players of late. |

We couldn't be further away from Arsenal. They are on of the best run sporting clubs in the world. Carlton are a shambles. Synners is far closer to the mark. Or maybe Rangers in Scotland. |

Agree we are Leeds... I've always seen Richmond as the Liverpool of the AFL. Lots of cups. No success for a long long time. A bunch of moronic supporters that get stupidly over excited year after year. And a club that often promises plenty and manages to find a way to blow it. I can almost hear Stevie G giving the halftime speech in the Elim final V us in 2013. "It doesn't @#$%&! slip from here!!" ![]() |

I hate Arsenal as much as anyone, but I'd crawl over a kilometre of your grandmother's involuntary bowel movements for us to be as good as them. |

We are the Wolves Team of 2011-12. After an appalling start to the season they sacked their Manager Mick McCarthy after a run of 9 games without a win (notice the similarities, right down to the name 'Mick') and replaced him with one of his assistants, coach Terry Connor for the remainder of the season. Terry failed to win another game for the rest of the season from Feb to June and ended up 12 points adrift of safety from relegation. |

As an Arsenal fan I find this thread title highly offensive. And I am a Wenger critic who is frustrated at our lack of a title run in over 10 years! Carlton are a billion light years behind Arsenal, their a solid top 4 side, been so for nearly 2 decades, won 3 leagues and 5-6 FA Cups in the period Carlton have won 2 Wizard Cups and generally run our good name into the ground. |
