Hawks have beaten Freo & Swans in last two weeks by a total of 27 goals. :yikes:

Hawks will rest players against us, no need for them to prove a point next week. They have already proved there point by smashing 2 of the top teams...

We're in with a chance......maybe..... Or were flowered....

Might be Barker's first ever 100 point loss... Our first since Pagan

I'll be ecstatic with anything less than an 80 point margin of defeat.

Don't think Yarran deserves to play. It was frustrating watching mope around the backline at half pace.

Its not Tutt's fault he is being selected, please match committee don't select him this week.

Agree about Yarran but we are running out of players so dropping him may not be an option.
Wow, this could be really ugly.

Why? We're on the bottom playing severely undermanned while the reigning premiers are at full strength and have just smashed their nearest rivals to the bejeezus.

Oh, and it's a Friday night game after a trip to WA,

What could possibly go wrong?

Out: White (structure), Carrazzo (62% game time... inj?), Menzel (inj)
In: Dick, Boekhorst, Walker

Henderson back, Rowe forward, Yarran deep at one end and used sparingly on the rebound, Walker or Boekhorst sub.

Simpson and Docherty to take turns giving the chop out, Dick to play in defence. Maybe Yarran for Smith if he can't play through his injury.

White curbed Fyfe well I thought while still remaining in the contest himself. Why not try him on Mitchell? We have had plenty try and do worse.

White is the new Ellard?

Pretty sure that is Tutt.

In: Boekhorst, Jaksch, Walker
Out: Menzel, Rowe, Yarran

B: Buckley Jamo Fields
HB: Docherty Hendo Tuohy
C: Holman Cripps Curnow
HF: Bell Casboult Murphy
F: Tutt Jaksch Everitt

R: Kreuzer White Carrazzo
Inter: Simmo Walker Walsh
Sub: Boekhorst

I'm assuming Carrazzo & Walker are OK to play.

White is unlikely to be a long term answer in the midfield, but we need another strong body in there right now. He might get the job on Lewis, maybe Hodge?

The new injury to Byrne is a blow, because he would have been well and truly in the mix for selection this week. Who does that leave?-
Whiley, Wood, Jones, Watson, Johnson, Dick, DVR & Smith.... :?

It will be a minor miracle if we remain competitive in each quarter from here.

For me it's either White or Fields operating in that 3rd defender role; they're not midfielders or athletic medium defenders, though you could send White forward and drop Rowe. It's a tough call.

Hopefully we bring unsociable football next week.

Would probably backfire and wake Hawthorn up, but would be nice to send a message. Loved the improved support shown for teammates last night.

The good news is we get to play the Hawks Twice in the next 7 weeks so we can soften them up this week and come in for the kill next time.
