Cripps was cooked in the 3rd qtr. Showed his team mates how to dig deep in the last. He's a ripper. |

Nice not to have that toxic low uncontested possession game style. Shared the ball around. Of course they will make mistakes because many are poorly skilled and also are trying to play another way after 3 years of long kicking trash. 270 uncontested possessions to 185. Henderson enjoyed short kicks to him on the lead, not long kicks giving defenders opportunity to spoil. |

Yes isn't it nice to play a modern game style Still too many skill errors but at least playing an attractive brand of footy |

Not used to playing a running game and running so hard. Almost like being round 1 again. That will get better. |

We lack polish, but we're at least giving our forwards some opportunities to lead at the footy and take a mark. Kreuzer and Casboult give us the long bomb options, but it's good to see we're not using that tactic every time. |

Thought we could win until the last minute. Glad Eddie missed that shot after the siren. |

Didn't Hendo and Casboult revel in the ball coming in quickly. |

It's gonna be a long way back but with more kids with the heart, desire and nous of Cripps there is hope. |

Cripps has the most contested possessions in the team. He is currently my favourite Carlton player. |

Big difference is that we don't have 8 players tagging - gives us a chance to get our own ball and have them chase us occasionally. Lets look forward to the post MadHouse era - can't be any worse. |

Carlton FC @CarltonFC 37m37 minutes ago Scans confirm that @cjayfive has ruptured the ACL in his left knee. More details to follow in the coming days. #NAVYBLUES #AFLBluesCrows Barker: "He's a champion of the game. He's been massive for this club. What can you say?" Barker: "We want that effort to be standard. We shouldn't be applauding it too greatly." Barker: "Juddy's injury wasn't discussed during the game." Barker: "The boys are pretty flat." Barker: "He's a champion of the game. It's the little things. His ability to will himself sets him apart." Barker: "Murphy was enormous today. Talk about setting the standard..." Barker: "Cripps was cramping." Barker: "Kreuzer's return was one of the little wins. He's a very good player & we're going to give him every opportunity to keep growing." Barker: "The bye comes at a very good time. Our decision making, our ball use, our composure... We need to work on those elements." |
