So is that the Carlton way? Don't interview for the job. Still become coach of Carlton!

Given he just dropped Menzel and Yarran, I'd think he has the job

Why? Maybe he thinks he's a better chance replacing them with 2 fit, hungry players.
I understand people are sceptical about Carlton following a proper process but he doesn't have the job yet. Not even close.

I think he needed to send a message and the 2's needed some help. Hopefully they'll be a bit more competitive this week and the 1's will have an honerable loss ;)

Skeptical not really, just frustrated and despondent at why we are unable to find a coach and assistants, whom will inspire, mentor our kids develop their skills and bring a positive and competitive attitude to the team.
We need a strong leader.
How difficult can it be, get it done and let's move forward the longer we remain
without direction and game plan the deeper we sink.
Go Baggers

Need strong leaders in the board room first and then it will filter down.
We have shown it does not matter who the coach is, his career will be over once our club finishes him off.

Now you're getting the idea!!!

Anyone who is dumb enough to apply or interview for the job is clearly either too desperate or too over-qualified

We repeated the Pagan mistake but the club wants to make sure the 'Ratten way' wasn't a one off.

So how did your interview go with Dew, you were obviously impressed by him. What impressed you the most compared with barker. Please tell us.

Good stuff from Barker.

Apparently the work rate, support and effort are there from Trigg & MLG, which has led SOS to put them into his list management system and have them scouted.

I wonder what the strong conversation was about? Too much effort or not enough.

All the best for his next role.

Did a reasonable job in restoring a little bit of sanity and spirit ... (and potentially towing the company line) ...
but I can't forgive him for that record loss.
Or the spoon.
