??? Yeah. And interestingly, either have the board and the CEO. I've trawled through the internet and can't seem to find LoGuidice saying "I'm so sorry, I flowered up" anywhere.

Mick's gone, so who cares. But the others are still here and still haven't admitted fault.

Not one..
- Sorry for allowing Sticks to be president for 5 years.
- Sorry for doing shit recruiting for 15 years.
- Sorry for having shit development for 15 years.
- Sorry for breaking 7 coaches (including 5 premiership coaches).
- Sorry for pissing millions up against the wall in hiring badly, managing badly, firing badly.
- Sorry for looking like incompetent dicks in the public arena.
- Sorry for publicly announcing a rebuild after 2 rounds of the season.
- etc etc etc.

You keep focussing on Mick. I'm worried about the future of the club.

President's letter was self-serving: Malthouse

Sacked Carlton coach Mick Malthouse has slammed the "negative" and "self-serving" letter to the club's members sent by Blues president Mark LoGiudice on Monday.

The letter flagged the Blues would determine if the record-breaking coach would continue at Ikon Park in 2016 after round 10.

If we start winning games in the next 2 years ... Please don't say it was it was because of all the work Madhouse put in. He has totally decimated the club, killed off the playing list and taught the team how to play an old fashioned football brand that just does not work anymore.

No credit shall be given to the Madhouse ... thank you in advance.

Quite right but look what he did with it. Read moshe's post above. Encompass the problems at the CFC

Lo and compatriots fall on your respective swords and let's all move on.

Such a boring interview subject.

Such a disingenuous bugger.

Didn't wast my time watching the interview. Can't believe there even was one. What an ego.

Bitter, boring, self serving as usual with Mick. His comment about wishing Jock's record was 1000 games said it all......what a lie!!!

CFC is a mess but we are a much better club as we sit here today for MM getting the sack!!!

Showed the real Mick. Good riddance.

Now time to move on as things aren't fixed yet.

anybody listening to SEN and Terry Wallace...

basically said the board wanted to wait to the bye before sacking Mick because they wanted Mick to be coach for the next 2 heavy losses against the swans and crows as Judd/Gibbs/Murphy will be out during those games. Also gives these blokes 4 weeks off to have a crack at the 4 home games after the bye...

That's exactly the way I interpreted the situation at the time .

That shot of the goo at the game; snoring, slouched in his seatwith belly overhang;
Sums it up for me.
This is a metaphor of our board.

Its hard to decribe the feeling I had watching John Barker talk at the airport yesterday.
I finally realised MM was not our coach.
I think it must be like when they move animals from cages in the zoo. They now have a spacious environment to live in.
They take awhile to adapt to the new space...but then watch them run!
Ok sure its still a zoo..but sooo much better than the cage.:)

Good post.

The board must be pissing themselves, everyone is putting the boot into Mick, taking the spotlight off this sub standard club and they keep on going and you keep on lapping it up.

There is some great deflection going on.
Correct!
The usual cowardly shirking of responsibility by the Carlton board.. Who year in year out squib responsibility as Carlton supporters continue to be played with smoke and mirrors..
Hilarious

Yep, as pretty tame and harmless in the end. Not actually sure what purpose it served.
