I cared before we d 'won' one before, but now that we ve got 3, I don't care. It gives us 2 top 20 draft picks is an awesome help to the rebuilding of our list. Just need to make sure we nail our picks. |

If the Number 1 pick isn't clear cut, it would be a good carrot to dangle. Not saying we trade the pick for a player, but possibly 2 1st Round Picks. |

I'd only downgrade into the top 3 or 5, depending on the talent pool and the gap between our judgement of #1 and the chasing pack. |

My reaction to the wooden spoon (if that be the case) is we must find an on field leader first and foremost. A Selwood or a Hodge type of player who will lead by example and unify the troops. This to me is a glaring deficiency we currently have that must be rectified. Don't get me wrong, I love Murphy, I think he's a fantastic player and a great man to have at Carlton. But if we're going to the table with a number 1 pick, I want that pick to be spent on leadership. |

I remember when we won the "Bryce Gibbs Cup". That didn't turn out quite as well as we'd hoped. |

I don't rememebr any Gibbs Cup. There was a Kreuzer Cup. Look back at that 2006 Draft. What a stinker. Gibbs at 1 Boak at 5 Selwood at 7 Gray at 55 and Westoff in the 70s probably still the top 5 and Gibbs def at 5 or 6 Riewoldt Frawley and Armitage next best |
