Thank you for supporting Carlton FC as a Guernsey Club partner in 2014. As an existing partner whose player is no longer with the club, we would like to update you on the priority process offered to you for Guernsey Club opportunities in 2015.

– On Monday 8th December you will receive an email containing a link that will outline available Guernsey Club opportunities for 2015.

- The webpage attached to the link will give you the opportunity to purchase a Guernsey Club package for 2015 at the same level that you held in 2014 (Silver or Gold)

– The packages available will be offered exclusively to sponsors whose players have departed the club in the off-season. These will be offered on a ‘first in, best dressed’ basis.

– This priority offering will be made available until Friday 19th December.

– Following this date all remaining opportunities will be made available to any interested parties.

As always you're welcome to contribute to this sponsorship with any amount you are comfortable with. In the past people have usually put in $20, $50 or $100, with a few others generously putting in a bit more than that too.

For those new to this, as described by Cazzesman last year the Player Sponsorship money "is general fundraising for the Club. The money has to come from somewhere to dress the lads in all the CFC gear. That includes football jumpers, shorts etc, etc. It includes the players suits etc. I know they have a suit sponsors but I suspect the Club puts some money towards it.

"It also helps pay for all the medical tapes, lotions and hardware. The money will pay for a multitude of costs incurred by the Club within the Football department.

"It is simply another way of fundraising for the club with the added bonus that you actually get a player to support as part of the deal, rather than just putting money in a big bucket."

Not many of us can dip into our own pockets and find the cash to contribute individually, but as a collective we can pool our money together and get behind a player for the year.

I suggest we aim for a Gold level sponsorship and, as per 2014, we can tip in money from the TC Google ads revenue to make up any shortfall.

I'm not sure how much time we'll get to select a player when the list is released on Monday, which may impact on the level of time I get to consult with you all. Are you happy to trust me?

-------------------------
Update 15 December
-------------------------

***PAYMENT DETAILS***

Here are the payment details for the sponsorship:

BSB 083437
Account 873760850
Name C Mercieca

bluechucky will coordinate the payment for us and he has asked when submitting your payment can you please include the following in the reference/description field:

SP-Username

SP is for sponsorship and username is pretty obvious.

If you have any questions please let me know. And if you haven't contributed yet but would like to we're still accepting pledges of support. Any shortfall in the amount required will be paid from TC advertising revenue.

Thanks
Liam
