Interstate members got a good run. Seemed overly moderated and poorly attended |

When was it advertised? 1 days notice is the answer. |

if you truly cared about Carlton you would have been on there even with only 1 minutes notice Such apathy ! |

Care factor is low with me. I watch the games and that's it. I read this thread, that's how I knew about it ![]() |

I read it this morning. Just a lot of fluff. IMO not much of importance. If they really want to "engage" the supporters have the Pres. the CEO and the Coach on line all at once and explain our plan for building a winning culture. Not for this week or next but how we are going to build our next Premiership side because at the moment it looks like a number of key people running in their own directions trying to save their jobs. |

Its bullshit, its only a fluffy forum about memberships. Nothing about management, coaching, finances, players, communication (lack of) all of which are important matters right now. Waste of time. |

I posted a request that I as a member want. For a full board election where every board member explains their contribution thusfar and every prospective board member explained what they would do if elected. Strangely, it didn't get posted. But I'm glad we got to hear that the Social Club function was a raging success and the scarves have run out. |

I'll be disappointed if there isn't some sort of board challenge this year, even if its Max Gratton like. |

The ' independent review board' would rule this out for most people. They simply wouldn't meet the recommendation status required to meet the lofty standards our board requires. After all they must reach standards to get a nod on to our esteemed board |

Synners I still think this does nothing other than help independent candidates get onto the board. From there it's really up to those casting votes, and then what happens to their views once they're thrown in this viper pit you keep talking about. |

What do you mean Jim? |

We've covered this before: if the review board lies to the members, it's pretty easy to catch them out. Then you just need enough votes, which probably means you need more than the 10% turnout they normally get at the elections. Finally, once you're on the board, you need to persuade everyone else on the board towards your point of view. |

actually you haven't covered it at all unless you have examples... Give me examples of how you'd catch them out of they found an excuse to not rubber stamp somebody because " we don't need a lawyer just yet .. Yet again another time.. " Are you serious ? Lol |

The next thing is.. Do people risk fronting the " independent " which might nitpick towards a rejection..? People don't like humiliation .. You should know that Jim.... Second.. In your opinion is this an independent committee or not? |
