Ellard will do OK if it's wet and if we move the footy quickly into the forward 50, but I'm sure everyone knows I would have preferred Armfield for the same role, especially seeing Ellard has only completed 2 VFL pre-season matches before this. |

Ellard is an a grader... Looking forward to him coming back from a long stint on the side line... Offers pace, skill, tackling pressure and a goal kicker.. Will push for the 8 with him in the squad... Fuc& we are a joke!!!! Ellard please Mick, why????????? |

Still think we'll win. We are going to clamp them like we did to a few side last year. |

Further. We have everyone lauding the Hinkley and co super attacking football and the Hawks brand but you need 15 (minimumh) very good and very fit players to play those brands. Not many sides have the quality. If everyone is playing a similar brand only the quality teams will succeed. Getting our defensive game locked away is probably our best bet in the short term and hopefully become a more attacking team as the list improves. I reckon the Diggies will fall away. Adelaide won't because they have the quality to be a complete football side. |
