Its not on the clubs website and I cant find a reference anywhere else - not even the Carlton or Virgin websites, but this quotes Trigg, and dates to April 5th - Quote: Carlton has made Virgin Australia its official Airline Partner for the next two years. Carlton and Virgin will team up for game-day activations during the season with flight and holiday package giveaways. Carlton CEO Steven Trigg said: “Virgin Australia is a leader in air travel and we are absolutely thrilled to have them as an official partner of the Carlton Football Club. “Carlton has supporters nationwide and we want to give them the best opportunity to see our team play. This partnership will help make that experience a positive one. “It’s the coming together of two iconic, premium brands and we look forward to growing together.” The agreement marks the first Victorian club partnership by Virgin Australia ref: http://sportsbusinessinsider.com.au/new ... new-deals/ |

On the ball as usual. That's great news. My family travel with Virgin proudly wearing our jumpers. Well not the wife, she wears her Ladies of Carlton scarf. We make a scene no doubt. Plenty of comments and no abuse. Hope interstate travel to watch Carlton is cheaper for us. ![]() |

Virgin are the AFL sponsor. Hopefully there are some funds coming our way. I saw a Virgin advertisement this morning featuring G Ablett. |
