Essendon** stuck to their guns. It happens all the time. There are many examples of criminals getting away with crimes because they stick to their guns, draw out the process and erase evidence (or witnesses) and Essendon** did what it was advised to do in order to get away with it.

If anything, all it does (imho) is make the AFL as corrupt as the criminals in the end. Justice and integrity win or corruption does. The AFL have spoken, so now you know without a shadow of a doubt what this organisation is, and what they represent.

Its a very bitter pill to swallow for Carlton supporters especially. Expecting the AFL to do to Essendon** what it did to us. After the findings we all know this is not going to happen, and Essendon** can get on with trying to win premierships.

If ever there was a time to support our club I would say its now. Instead of doing what Essendon** have done, we have done the hard yards, we have tasted wooden spoons, public ridicule and had to rebuild from scratch.

But we've done it. And we've done the hard way. I am dead set proud to be a Carlton supporter, and no matter what the AFL do, or what Essendon** get away with will take anything away from the fact we faced our darkest times, almost decimated as a club and copped it on the chin fair and square.

We're still here, load and proud. Building a team for premiership glory. When considering teams like the South Melbourne Swans and the Fitzroy Lions, we too could have been the Carlton Kangaroos or some such sacrilege.

But we're not. We are Carlton, flower the rest!

wtf can you say after that verdict? I tweeted to wada as KK suggested. I tweeted to asada to appeal to wada too. I can't comprehend how they get away with this how Hird is still the coach? and the doc????? I don't think I can get over it. I hope there is an appeal, but mostly that WAdA intervenes and poor, poor GWS...he'll have to change markets! all I can think of short term is continuing my boycott on Bombers games. I hope many many fans boycott their games all year. we have a collective voice, we just need to exercise it. please feel free to rant away at the injustice as well as any other footy gripes you have. that's what The Worry Room is for. The doors are open, the bar is open, the screaming room is open. The balcony is currently closed. come on in. welcome.

haha ... I cant stop laughing ... maybe im losing my mind but I find the whole thing hilarious ... combine that with the fact that butane gas cylinders are now illegal because idiots burnt themselves I have very little confidence in our society ...

It is very hard get excited about the game at the moment. I was looking forward to the game on Thursday, but now there is a bad smell. I will be watching with more indifference than i usually do. not good.
