Which player do you think can take that next step in their game to become an A grade player ala murphy and gibbs? Mine for 2015 is Andrjas Everitt, 26 years old, played over 100 games. great running ability and showed last year he can have an influence on games. Great kick for goal and can play at either end of the field. I think Menzel will get to the A grade level but at 21 he might need some more time. |

I'm very interested to see how Docherty goes this year. Didn't have a pre-season last year... not sure if he's ever had one.. but been in the system for a while and showed he's "got it". He's being overshadowed by talk about Cripps, Boekhurst, Jones, Jaksch... but I think he's a silent achiever. We're going to see a lot of players seemingly "come from nowhere" this year.. Daisy is another one... Kreuzer... I sure hope that as a side we "come from nowhere" and raise some eyebrows as well. |

Sorry, I'm greedy, they won't be A graders this year, but will have us all sitting up in our seats SOJ - talking a good game - future leader Cripps - he has what John Kennedy and Alan Jeans loved as coaches - an ability to get the ball Docherty - was able to get goals last year while checking his opponent. Seems to be able to create something. |

I have really liked the look of Whiley when I have seen him at training. 2 years in the system. And before the naysayers get wound up, yes I am aware he comes from GWS and could only manage 2 games up there. I just like the way he carries himself in regards to his enthusiasm. He hits he ball hard and has reasonably good skills. Can see him slotting in along side Buckley and running through the midfield. |

Gibbs To maintain it from last year. I hope he doesn't do a Jordan Russell and win the John Nicholls Medal and fail badly the next year.....diamond in the rough... phew... |

I think Jones and Sheehan are 2 guys with the right attributes and could dramatically improve their games. A graders? Probably not. Don't think we've got many (if any) that will take that leap, but those are 2 guys that I think could improve our structure and improve their own games a lot. They'd be 2 guys who'd get recognised for their improvement too, given the trade for Jones and Sheehan's Irish background. |

I am hopeful that Casbolt will take the next step. and that Murph will regain that form that had us all talking a few years back (and perhaps started to show near the end of last year) I think Everett is good but not sure we will see a big step up. Buckley could be anything. Would love to see Curnow show that he is more than an honest good footballer! |
