Many moons ago our resident advertising executive John M had the sterling idea of opening a 'TALKING CARLTON CAFE' on Lygon St. Do the people of our community believe this is a good idea? Synbad could be behind the coffee machine serving the coffee, Mrs Caz could be at the cash register making sure everyone pays their way and each Sunday we could have an open mike where Tommi could play the bongo drums... ......... .........Tommi are you a conventional drummer or a bongo drummer.....? ![]() And Dannyboy and 79V could get over our daily hangover to read from our literature The members of TALKING CARLTON, how could you contribute to our cultural HUB on Liesgone St - THE TALKING CARLTON CAFE ? |

Well Camelboy can work on the design and layout of the café and I'll just look busy but achieve nothing. |

I'll be a regular customer at first, move into a house just around the corner but never look at the place for a few years, eventually claim a table near the wall and start listening to every conversation, saying hi once every week or so... |

very nice spiritual concept, ....filthy rotten business model, spooking all those non-carlton supporters, especially our close and beloved magpie and Tiger friends (may need a couple of bouncers to keep people in) |
