It's just come to my attention (and probably a whole host of others here eagerly glued to Trade Week Radio) that Andrew McKay was just quoted as saying "We're not sure if a deal for Jason Tutt will happen at this stage".
As such, I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it any more. I've had a gut full of us being crap at trade week, not being quick enough to get deals done, being too quick to get deals done, saying stuff to the media, not saying stuff to the media, picking the wrong guy five years later, or just simply, someone had a cooler sounding name and my second cousin used to work with Marcus Bontempelli at Safeway a few years ago.
We need to take a stand as Carlton supporters and march upon our spiritual home at Princess Park on Sunday, and let the club know exactly what we want. Jason Tutt on our list next year. Or someone from GWS, but we can sort that out later.
Lucky for us, the Step UP For Down Syndrome rally is also happening at the club that day, so it'll look like heaps more people will be joining our cause, and I'll get a photo with Simmo too which will be pretty cool.
I speak for all Carlton members who are clearly prepared to microwave their membership cards (we'll use our 2014 ones I guess as they haven't sent us next year's yet....those who don't have memberships are good to come still anyway) if we don't get what we want in trade week delivered to us on a silver platter or reputable brand of Tupperware.

* - ALL HOME GAMES AT PRINCESS PARK NEXT YEAR
* - NOTCHES
* - FORMALLY JOINING THE AUSTRALIAN REPUBLIC MOVEMENT
* - A FULL CARLTON PARDON FOR BOBBY SANDS AND ALL OTHER PARTICIPANTS IN THE 1981 IRA HUNGER STRIKE
WE NEED TO GET ANGRY. AND SERIOUS. ANGRIOUS MOSTLY.
We'll be meeting at Pugg Mahones across from the ground. I have hired the Melbourne Pipe Band (
