"Carlton chief executive Steven Trigg.... is investigating whether this year's heritage guernsey should become the permanent strip."

If it means replacing the current 'metrosexual' logo, then I say yes. (a dumbed down version of the previous serif logo perpetrated by an overly ambitious committee member with a leaky biro pen.)
Going back to the ’95 slab-serif design feels more authentic. It is more masculine and a far better design. Last premiership guernsey.

Sadly, our last premiership was in a 'heritage' era.

I asked for the return of the old monogram in the marketing email response.
So much has changed in football over the years, it would be great to have the bold monogram back.
The old monogram is 'classic' and should never have been changed in the first place.
IMO one of the reasons opposition supporters hated Carlton is because of our great strip.. a bit of jealousy... I've heard this all my life. IMO it conjures fear and respect.
And then they weakened it.
Please bring back the old monogram Carlton. Changing it was nonsensical.
Changing it back is an easy thing.

Not entirely subtle though. Why not just announce it?
