Possibly the wrong spot for this, but after last night we need some good news. In the O & M league Setanta has just topped the ton, Fev bagged a lazy 16, he's about 20 behind Setanta. Must be a seriously lopsided league. Results like last night's are a weekly event. Still, well done ex Blues!

Fev and Setanta two great role models.

Setanta kicked 100? That's a lot of playing on in the goal square

I actually always thought it was an embarrasment that a bloke who grew up playing hurling was a better set shot kick for goal than 80% of our list.

Post subject:  Re: Ex Blues kicking goals

I'd dispute that, back then 80% of our list didn't get a chance to have a shot at goal

Good to see that Carlton is a good nursery for producing players in country leagues

Karl Norman could have been an All Aust half back if only he had knuckled down and had a stronger environemnt. Not a bad kid, just easily led. Loads of talent. Pacy height beautiful disposal, a wasted talent.

The last few years he has been a ruckmen. He has a huge leap on him. Definitely a waste of talent. He could have been a very good player if he wanted to work hard.
