Juddy provides some friendly advice for all the CEOs (and boards) out there on how they should be doing their job.

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/afl-season-2016-chris-judd-struggling-clubs-must-look-beyond-quickfix-no-1--sack-the-coach-20160616-gpkd40.html

Interesting quote:

If, after two or three years, the senior coach isn't deemed to be in the competent or better category (or at least moving rapidly towards it), he should be managed out. For the other key people, 12 months should be enough.

I would be interested to see what Andy McKay's post 12 month report card said .........

..at one point I'd thought that Trigg and MLG's low profile was not a positive.

It appears to me as though they are just getting on with the business of running the club. Not such a bad thing.

I would like to know what names Judd had in mind when he wrote the article

Been a very important cog in us finally moving in the right direction. Keep it up Triggy.

Very happy with Triggy.
By far the best CEO for us since our halcyon days.

Was watching MUFC TV last night and their live coverage of training in China before the game later today.
It was great and I can't for the life of me understand why it can't be done at AFL club level.

Just had Trigg on 3AW. Love listening to him. From the outside looking/listening in, he's the best CEO we've had at the club since the days of Steven Gough and Collo.

I love Brendan Bolton and the huge cultural change he's helped introduce into the club, and it's a delight to listen to him. But Trigg's even more impressive to listen to, because he doesn't simply repeat the same cliches.

Off-Topic here, but MUFC TV are one of my clients over here. We do all their Sports Graphics.

I offered the same thing to Carlton, pretty much for free......... didn't take it.

Good question. That's the rumour doing the rounds from BigFooty though. From Barass too.

Football department direction is the best it's been. Supporter interaction is probably the best its been. The link between the football department and other areas of the club is the best its been. I'd say Surreys assessment is pretty accurate.

Supporter interaction is still mediocre so that's not adding much IMO. Otherwise thanks for the update!
