What's sad about today: 1) How predictable this was 2) That (given Mick's comments this week) a lot of these softcocks will be back next year to pull this same shit. |

Took 5 mins to see that Carlton weren't 'on' today. Players looked exhausted before the end of the first 1/4. They've raised the white flag on this season. |

This side has lost hope. They've been together for too long without success, grown with each other's bad habits, & have never had a consistent run of good footy. We're a side that doesn't believe it can win. The list needs a massive shake up & it should've happened 2 years ago. |

And MM says we don't need a massive culling of the list ? Is he for fkn real ??? I ve been steadfast in my support of his since the beginning, but these continuous heartless, pathetic performances are slowly turning me against him!!! |

I think MM was feeding the chooks with the second one. After saying we needed a cull last year, the press frothed at the mouth about the savage list management that was going to happen. He will still cut pretty deep I think. Very little to be enthused (or surprised) about today. Disappointing but predictable. The sadder thing is how apathetic we have all become about it. I'd like to think that some players were starting to get lines through their names for the purposes of developing a future list but I doubt it. |

Biggest problem was 2012 when the whole list was contracted, nobody wanted to trade for our dead wood and we had 3 spots only for the minimum draft number. We lost a very important year of list renewal. |

we have bugger all making up any kind of backbone from our last x amount of drafts. there is nothing coming through... playing games into nothing coming through doesnt help. we need probably 4 or 5 years of serious drafting , recruiting and developing. 2 or 3 wont cut the mustard.... personally i dont think anyone out of this team is capable of coming in and giving us anything credible .buckley at a pinch. were will have to replace them all (though i cant tell with giles) and a few from our current firsts for being not up to it.. or cooked.. or going to be cooked when the next wave begins to come through Were looking at around 2020 thats a killer!!! |

Absolutely no run. Poor skills. No intensity. I know Malthouse said the changes to our list won't be severe but I can come up with a dozen names we could move on and we'd be no worse than we are now. |

Why does Jamo continually take the lesser fwd and Rowe take the Key target. Rowe can mature on the second KPF, Jamo has been the leader down back for years. He SHOULD be taking the marquee Fwds weekly. He ain't Fletcher who's served 12 yrs on key Fwds and now plays the third tall, we can't afford that. Rowe gas had good games but he can still do that and not allow the opposition to get early runs. If Malthouse is serious about building the list he'd give up on Carazzo & McLean. They ain't worth persisting with. Also Warnock... Yeah he's getting more hit outs but you can't afford to have rucks avg 6 odd disp a game. Especially when those taps are resulting in opposition clearances anyway. Give Wood a go, if he's serviceable trade one of Warnock or Kreuzer. Finally Hendo see lost this season fwd. |
