Gibbs is a star and is worth whatever $$$ he asks for. As usual the umpires can GAGF, but to be fair, they would have bottled it just as badly if we'd been up 5 points and a Geelong player had been taken high in the ridiculous maul at the end. These people are not magistrates, they are film directors. |

Two weeks in a row we've been 16 points up with about 10 minutes to go and been unable to seal the deal. Different set of circumstances I know, but still disappointing. I suspect it's more mental than fitness, but we seem to struggle more than most in red time. Good effort tonight, but it was our best chance in a long time to beat Geelong and we couldn't finish it. Not that we're spoilt for choice with other options, but I wouldn't care if that's the last time we see Waite in navy blue. I thought it might have been our night when Gibbs kicked that goal with 3 minutes to go......

Why don't we get on the defensive side when defending? If we did the little things better we would be a whole lot better team. Everyone knows the umpires are shit, but we have to do the things we can control better. |

I was pretty happy happy with the effort. Being robbed is never much fun, but we came off a day break, they had 8. The Cats got 4 goals up which, we may normally have given up. Gibbs. Mick did pretty well with his moves in the game. |
