I just as much assume Waite is cooked - stick a fork into him

No one is getting younger (except maybe Benjamin Button). Could we just come to an agreement never to use that moronic phrase again!

No more moronic than many other idioms and quite useful in football terms.

Are you suggesting we should put equal faith in old (in football terms) players to get us to a 17th premiership? It's a pretty long journey.

This... ..yes and no.. ..no, to the one dimensional type that stays deep and doesn't work up and down the ground.. ..yes to their good marking and finishing skills, especially clutch goal kicking.. ..you need two key forwards that can run all game, and rotate their positioning through the match, but you'd want the player with the better finishing skills playing deeper more often than not..

Carlton will target kew rovers boy kristian Jaksch.. Numerous players will be on the table, carlton want to keep its first round pick, so will be offering players, but they will target him.. Our first pick will be a key forward or key defender..

If you are, what on earth makes you think I'm suggesting that??? I think we should go for younger players (who incidentally, aren't getting any younger either).
