..yes and no.. ..no, to the one dimensional type that stays deep and doesn't work up and down the ground.. ..yes to their good marking and finishing skills, especially clutch goal kicking.. ..you need two key forwards that can run all game, and rotate their positioning through the match, but you'd want the player with the better finishing skills playing deeper more often than not..

I reckon Fev might down a couple of quick middies at half-time....... and still come out slotting a bag in the 2nd half. You're on to something there, Pew.

Well if Rowe n White can keep going, by my reckoning the one gaping hole on the list is other key forward

Also need another key back bec Jamison is not getting younger and his shoulders are the proverbial ticking time bomb

Tall Backs - Jamison , Rowe, White

Tall Fwds - Henderson, The Bolt

I just as much assume Waite is cooked - stick a fork into him

Simple Maths really

Henderson has not performed well this year ... looking forward to seeing Waite back in the team.

No one is getting younger (except maybe Benjamin Button). Could we just come to an agreement never to use that moronic phrase again!

Steady on, Moshe. Don't get your blood pressure up.
You're not getting any younger, you know.

No more moronic than many other idioms and quite useful in football terms.

I don't rate its usefulness over the journey.

Are you suggesting we should put equal faith in old (in football terms) players to get us to a 17th premiership? It's a pretty long journey. :?

I assume you're directing that at me.

If you are, what on earth makes you think I'm suggesting that??? I think we should go for younger players (who incidentally, aren't getting any younger either).

Carlton will target kew rovers boy kristian Jaksch..
Numerous players will be on the table, carlton want to keep its first round pick,
so will be offering players, but they will target him..
Our first pick will be a key forward or key defender..
